Noxdren, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RangeSight mobile application (the "App" or "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

When you use RangeSight, you may voluntarily provide certain information, including:

  • Flight Planning Data: Drone selection, battery parameters, payload weights, flight altitude, speed settings, and other mission parameters you enter
  • Saved Locations: Home locations or waypoints you choose to save within the App
  • Imported Mission Files: Litchi (CSV), DJI WPML, GPX, and KML route files you choose to import for Waypoint Mission analysis. These files are read on-device and are not transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the App, certain information may be collected automatically:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
  • Location Data: With your permission, we access your device's GPS coordinates to provide location-based weather data and map positioning. This data is processed locally on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous, aggregated information about how you interact with the App
  • Crash Reports: Technical information about app crashes to help us improve stability

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Protect the rights, property, and safety of our users and the public
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and other policies

4. DATA PROCESSING AND STORAGE

4.1 Local Processing

RangeSight processes most data locally on your device. Flight planning calculations, saved preferences, and location data are stored and processed on your device, not on our servers. This is what lets the App function offline.

4.2 Data Transmitted to Third Parties

When you use certain features, limited data may be transmitted to third-party services:

  • Weather Data Requests: Your latitude and longitude coordinates are sent to weather API providers to retrieve current weather conditions
  • Map Tile Requests: Your approximate map viewport location is sent to map tile providers to load map imagery

4.3 Data Retention

  • Local Data: Remains until you clear the App data or uninstall the App
  • Support Communications: Retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, typically no longer than 2 years
  • Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely for trend analysis
  • Crash Reports: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

RangeSight integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing their data practices:

  • OpenWeatherMap: Provides real-time weather data

5.2 Map and Imagery Providers

  • OpenStreetMap: Provides street map data
  • Esri: Provides satellite imagery and terrain data

5.3 App Distribution

  • Apple App Store: Distributes the iOS / iPadOS version of the App and may collect data according to Apple's Privacy Policy
  • Google Play Store: Distributes the Android version of the App and may collect data according to Google's Privacy Policy

6. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

6.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
  • Safety and Rights: To protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, ourselves, or the public
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6.3 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may share aggregated, anonymized data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, analytics, or business purposes.

7. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Local data storage on your device (not transmitted to our servers)
  • Secure API communications with third-party services
  • Regular security assessments and updates
  • Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

  • Analytics: You can opt out of analytics collection through the App settings or by contacting us.
  • Communications: You can opt out of non-essential communications by contacting us.

8.5 Data Deletion on Device

Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by:

  • Clearing the App's data through your device settings
  • Uninstalling the App from your device

9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

RangeSight is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our third-party service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

RangeSight is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. • Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise your GDPR rights, please contact us at [email protected].

13. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no uniform standard for DNT signals, RangeSight does not currently respond to them. The App processes most data locally and does not engage in cross-site tracking.

14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and provide notice through the App or by other appropriate means.
